The Bride

In August 2015, I experienced a traditional wedding in Kritsa, a village on the Greek island of Crete where I have a home. It was a fantastic, colourful event and inspired me to feature a wedding in the novel I’m writing, set in Crete, circa 1830. Thanks to these wonderful atmospheric photos I’ve more ideas.  If you’d like to see more of the Kritsa wedding you can click here.  Meanwhile, here is the post from the talented Pelly.
