A Quote A Day – Day 3

Well here I am on the final day of my Quote A Day challenge and to ensure the Greek theme continues I nominate Amanda who lives and writes on Rhodes, a Greek island I’ve yet to visit. I enjoy my virtual trips to Rhodes via Amanda’s deliciously named blog, Olive, Feta & Ouzo, and recommend that you pay her a visit.

As today is so important for the Greek economy I had hoped to quote Angela Merkel making an announcement to ease the lives of people in Greece, but no, or at least, not yet. Instead I shall use a quote that sums up my life during a particularly ‘sunny patch’:

With thanks to the late, great Bob Marley I say,

‘Love the life you live, live the life you love’

Kritsotopoula, Girl of Kritsa, launch party
Alan and Yvonne, May 2015 at Aristidis Cafe for the launch of Kritsotopoula, Girl of Kritsa

My life, like that of everyone else, has had wonderful ups and dreadful downs. By making deliberate choices over the way we spend our savings and organise our life, my husband  (and best friend), Alan and I currently enjoy a fantastic dual life between Crete and the UK. One day money or health will run out, but the wonderful memories of our time in Crete will last. When that does happen we shall just have to create another lifestyle to love.

Thank you to Ritu from But I Smile Anyway for including me in the challenge and I hope Amanda carries it on. These are the rules:

1, Post 1 quote a day for 3 days (can be your own or from other sources). Done

2, Nominate a blogger to participate per post. Done

3, Thank the person who nominated you.  Done

However, the biggest Thank You goes to you for taking the time to visit my blog, I look forward to seeing you again. X
