When I started blogging just over a year ago I had no idea that it would be such fun. As well as gaining insight to a huge variety of topics there are regular challenges such as the flash fiction foray that I’ve enjoyed for a few weeks and ad hoc ones too.
One blog I’ve come to enjoy is But I Smile Anyway and today Ritu has thrown me the gauntlet for a quote a day challenge. These are the rules:
1, Post 1 quote a day for 3 days (can be your own or from other sources).
2, Nominate a blogger to participate per post.
3, Thank the person who nominated you. Yes Ritu, I certainly do even though I need to give myself the additional challenge of making my chosen quote fit with the Greek theme of my blog. Luckily for me those ancient Greek philosophers knew a thing or two about quotes!
For my first quote I’ve turned to Plato who had this view back in the 5th century BC:
Good people do not need laws to tell them to act responsibly, while bad people will find a way around the laws. Source: http://www.greeka.com
This is certainly as true today as it was then.
My first nomination goes to Sarah Best as its evident that she likes a quote. http://sarahbesty.com/2015/06/10/fail-to-prepare-prepare-to-fail/#respond
